Brandon packed his bags, moved to Arizona and joined the Sole Sports team in May 2017, after working in the running specialty industry for 3 years in Iowa. His sidekick is Roscoe, a 3-year-old, miniature Australian Shepherd who loves long walks and short, easy runs with Brandon.
Brandon earned his degree in Health Promotion and Wellness from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where he ran cross-country and track. The oldest of four, Brandon grew up surrounded by three sisters in Chilton, Wisconsin, a town of only 4,000. In addition to running cross-country and track in high school, he skated and played hockey during the winter on the local lake and river.
A fan of Arizona’s heat, Brandon is still in love with everything Arizona has to offer. As far as running goes, he has his sights set on a spring 2019 marathon and a sub-2:37 finish.
The fun fact about Brandon not many people know is that he is a big sports fan and an even bigger baseball fan. Being relatively new to Phoenix, Brandon is like a kid in a candy store with all of our local teams and the spring training scene around the valley.
